Verona is located in the northeastern Italy. Following the West-East direction it is about halfway along the motorway A4 between Milan and Venice. In the North-South direction, it is along the motorway A22 between Brenner and Modena.

The main railway station of Verona is named "Porta Nuova". The Verona airport is located at about 10km in the near town of "Villafranca" and it is named "Valerio Catullo".

In order to reach Verona by train, note that you can purchase a Trenitalia's trip only if it is within 2 months from the purchasing time.

From Milan-Malpensa airport

Malpensa airport is situated about 50km in the northwestern of Milan. It is about 200km from Verona. From Malpensa you can get to Verona by train, bus or car.

You have at least two choices in order to reach Verona by train from Malpensa.

The first one is to reach the train station of Gallarate and then take a train as far as Verona.
A bus service is available from the Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 of Malpensa to Gallarate railway station. The journey last about 20-25 minutes and costs 1,60€. Buses depart about every 30 minutes from 5.40AM to 20.00PM.
Gallarate is joined to Verona by Trenitalia trains. You can search and purchase yuor trip here.

Otherwise, you can take a bus from Terminal 1 - exit 6 - stop 3 to Milano-Stazione Centrale railway station. Buses of different companies depart every day and the journey lasts about 50 minutes. Tickets can be bought at arrivals floor or on the bus. Buses of "Malpensa Shuttle" can be bought online here.
Once you are at Milano-Stazione Centrale, you can take a Trenitalia train leading you directly to Verona-Porta Nuova.

Buses joining Malpensa to Verona depart every day from Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 at 07.00, 11.00, 16.00, 18.00, and 21.00. The journey lasts about 2 h 30' / 3 h and arrives at Verona-Porta Nuova railway station. The one-way ticket costs 50€ while the round-trip ticket costs 90€.
Note that you have to reserve at least one day before the departure by sending an email.

From Malpensa you have to follow the direction for the motorway "A8/Milano-Varese/Milano". Follow the motorway A8 up to "Milano Nord" (about 25km) then take the exit on the left onto A4 toward "Tangenziale Est/Viale Zara/Venezia/E66/Milano". Follow the motorway A4 up to "Verona Sud".

From Milan-Linate airport

Linate airport is situated in the East of Milan and is about 160km from Verona.

First of all, you have to take a bus from Linate to Milano Centrale railway station. Buses, managed by Starfly, depart from arrivals floor every 30 minutes from 6:05 AM to 11:45 PM. Tickets can be bought at the office of "Agenzia Autostradale Linate" or on the bus.
At Milano Centrale railway station you can take a Trenitalia train as far as Verona-Porta Nuova.

From the airport follow the direction "Linate/A4/Venezia/Brescia" and merge onto motorway A51. After about 16km, take the exit onto A4/E64 toward Venezia (Venice). Finally, you take the exit "Verona Sud".

From Venice-Marco Polo airport

Venice Marco Polo Airport is located on the mainland near Venice and Mestre. It is about 125km from Verona.

From Marco Polo airport, the easiest way to reach Verona is to take a bus up to Mestre railway station and then take a Trenitalia train up to Verona-Porta Nuova railway station.
Buses joining the airport with Mestre are managed by ATVO S.p.A.. Buses depart every day. The journey lasts about 20 minutes. Tickets (price 3€) can be purchased at the following places:

  • automatic ATVO ticket machine in the arrivals baggage hall;
  • ATVO ticket office in the arrivals hall, open from 8.00 to 24.00;
  • automatic ticket machines located outside the airport, in the ATVO departure bays.

Out of the airport, take the free motorway A27. After about 5km you have to take the exit onto the toll motorway A4/E70 toward "Padova/Milano". Follow this motorway up to the exit "Verona Sud".

From Verona-Valerio Catullo airport

The Valerio Catullo airport is joined to Verona by a bus service.
Buses (ticket price 4.50€) depart every 20 minutes from 06.35 AM to 11.35 PM. and reach the Verona-Porta Nuova railway station (where there is also the main bus station).
